Every week, the Virtual Photography Archive Hour invites you to revisit your virtual photography archives as a great way to reach new audiences, rediscover past inspirations and even learn from mistakes. Featured below are a selection of the entries shared over the past month.
Revisiting older work can help to see it in a different light...
Title: The Last of Us | Developer: Naughty Dog | Publisher: Sony Interactive Entertainment | Initial Release: 14th June 2014
Putting the Infected filter to great use in The Last of Us, @no_va24 created this simple silhouette of Ellie on a blood red background. I'd also love to see a horizontally offset version to add a more cinematic feel.

Title: A Plague Tale: Innocence | Developer: Asobo Studio | Publisher: Focus Home Interactive | Initial Release: 14th May 2019
This excellently composed and candid shot is just one of a set of imaginative images which draw the viewer into the art and beauty to be found in this title.

Title: Gran Turismo Sport | Developer: Polyphony Digital | Publisher: Sony Interactive Entertainment | Initial Release: 17th October 2017
A crisp and clear shot of the BMW Vision Gran Turismo with added motion blur to generate a sense of speed in a way that GT Sport does so well.
Photographer: @ChestnutGT
Title: Marvel's Spider-Man | Developer: Insomniac Games | Publisher: Sony Interactive Entertainment | Initial Release: 7th September 2018
A particular favourite Spider-Man trick that often has Petey's audience wondering how these clever shots are achieved...
Photographer: @PeteyReilly
Title: Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order | Developer: Respawn Entertainment | Publisher: Electronic Arts | Initial Release: 15th November 2019
The thoughts of a lonely traveller pour out of this capture; where are they going and what awaits them when they get there?
Photographer: @J4N5_
Title: Control | Developer: Remedy Entertainment | Publisher: 505 Games | Initial Release: 27th August 2019
Through excellent use of light, this shot conveys tremendous feeling of age and texture to Jesse's skin and face. The fact that the illumination of her right iris feels slightly at odds with the direction of the light source and her dilated pupils is a detailed scrutiny that gives testament to its high quality.

Title: Days Gone | Developer: Bend Studio | Publisher: Sony Interactive Entertainment | Initial Release: 26th April 2019
By revisiting an early Days Gone shot, Shinobi reminds us how fantastic the moon cycle is in this game. Clever use of birds in silhouette add extra interest to an excellent capture.
